2020 Workday Charity Open: Top Picks

A one-of-a-kind event is set to tee off on Thursday morning in Ohio as the Workday Charity Open starts at Muirfield Village. This event takes the place of the canceled John Deere Classic and features some of the top players in the world taking on this amazing course for two straight weeks with the Memorial Tournament set for next week.

This means that we could see some creativity with course setup and management in at the inaugural event, which combined with a terrific field will make for another great week on the PGA Tour.

The featured groups this week are tremendous, too: Patrick Reed, Rickie Fowler and Matthew Wolff in one; Jordan Spieth, Patrick Cantlay and Phil Mickelson in another. Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas and Jason Day in probably the most prominent one. After a bit of a lull in field strength last week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, that flips back this week and again next week when we’ll see a major championship-like field at Muirfield Village.

The Workday Charity Open should be another great show and a preview of both what’s to come next week and what could happen at the PGA Championship — the season’s first and only major — in just four weeks from right now.
